I went to the SCC show this weekend and had a great time. It was like a huge Leeds cruise but over two days.

PLEASE NOTE.. I'm not usually a Yank metal fan.

Saturday we went on a drive to the rother valley country park whist the women folk had mini buses laid on to take them to Meadowhall.

Here's a few pics...

The Marroon Pop is a 10sec car running a Chevy small block running at (IIRC 514bhp at the wheels).

This is from the Blue Ford Pop running a big block Chevy v8 7.5l.

This was absolutly gorgeous. The pic doesn't do it justice at all. Don't know what it is tbh as can't remember what I read about it.

I would have sold my Mrs (and my son at a push) for this Corvette.

One of my favorites of the show. Chevy Impala 19.. but just look at the contours of that boot...
I'm sure the front's in a different time zone to the back.

Now just look at the blower on this f**ker!

And the last one 'til I upload to PB and add the link.

I "think" it's Ford "Woody". The owner has spent some serious time AND cash on this. The seats are done out in Ostrich leather ffs.

P.S Just to keep you all happy....

A Cortina estate (I know the Pops are British too)...But look at it's 1/4 time wink

Each to their own Etc. But I think these kind of guys are keeping the tinkering philosophy alive in Britain.

Hope you like 'em.

Sorry andy I should have put a post up about it a few weeks ago.
It's the same time every year. I'll post the dates next year if I remember.

Saw a few of em going down the M1 in the morning. Great stuff - a petrolhead's a petrolhead in my book and I'd love to go and have a nose too and find out what's been done to some of them.

Definitely give the next event a plug.

We saw the yellow A? and a few others on M1 Saturday evening heading N/B, assumed they'd been to Rotherham Show, Know different now. ;-)

that chevy 'woodie' is amazing up close. The type of car isn't my cup of tea but the love and detail and attention that has gone into that is absolutely amazing, a new corvette motor in it i think, great boot, interior amazing, cleaner than you can think.

was at a hull show earlier this year
Its a 46 Ford running an LS6 Corvette engine. Interior was done by Gabes in teh states.
