Joiner (to fit a Kitchen) and Bathroom fitter near Brigg?

We're trying to get our kitchen and bathroom replaced and we've had a few people round for quotes.
The quotes for the bathroom have ranged pretty widely but the cheapest happens to be a (genuine) company just around the corner from me (name withheld) - however, he's now not returning my phone calls to arrange a date/time to do the work (thanks man).
We've had one quote for the kitchen but I think it's a bit high (on the grounds that he's quoted for the bathroom too, but that's over £100 more than our other expensive bathroom quote).
What I'm stumped by now is trying to get someone reliable, cost friendly (cheap, if you will) and will actually quote and then do the work.
Does anyone know of someone (or some people) that can help me here?
(I'm even willing to consider a PHer coming round to doing the work and paying them proper money!)
