Hi went down Water Lane yesterday evening and noticed a new pelican crossing layout without traffic lights and I suspect they will appear imminently.

My route to and from work. Yes Rog, I go to work biggrin

At least those unfortunate enough not to have a job who live round there will have a safer passage to collect their benefits.

And them too! biggrin

Seriously though, if it means a safer crossing for the kids then it's good news. Just hope in real terms it doesn't end up causing a jam and leaving cars stranded on the junction with Bootham.

Let's be honest that whole area is a traffic nightmare at peak times.

From the supersized cycle lane introduction traffic now cues up to Poppleton Road. Madness.
