Scrap Metal Prices

Looks like I will be scrapping my winter hack at the end of the month as the mot is due and the car is worth sod all so no point spending cash on getting it through. Anyone know of the best place to take it in Leeds and what I am likely to be paid for it? Iirc it weighs just over 1100kg's

Theres a scrappy on the cross green industrial estate opposite Hesco Bastion. It's where i take my scrap, cant give you prices might be worth calling em.

I scrapped my Stilo about 6months back. got £250 for it from A1 All cars, and they came and picked it up. When they ask how much you want for it aim high. I phoned around several places each time asking for a higher amount. this was the best (by a long way) I got.

Doubt its something you will be interested in but it is a rover 216 coupe. Daft thing is it has fully service history and is mechanically sound but has a misaligned drivers door along with other bodywork blemishes. Has served me well but I have a lease car on the way in a few weeks so will need to dispose of this
