Lincolnshire Charity Sports & Supercar Day - 3rd Sept 2011
Discussion
The Fifth Annual Sports and Supercar Day will be held at the Jenny Wren Inn in Susworth as per the previous years since 2007.
The date is to be set for the Saturday 03rd September 2011.
www.jennywreninn.co.uk
I am hoping we can gather more sports and supercars for this years charity event to help raise money for a local charity (TBC).
The format for the event will be the same as the previous years; were car owners come along and the public (passenger) donate from £10 to £30 per passenger ride (depending on car) a pre determined driving route approximate 6 to 10 miles will be used in a sports or supercar of their choice.
All passenger ride proceeds raised will go to the charity in full.
Again this event can only be a success if car owners are willing to support the event as without you money cannot be raised.
Further details of the event will be posted and I hope you car owners will be willing support this event.
I will put a list together for who is hoping to attend so all can see what cars will be coming along.
Please add your name and car to list if you’re willing to attend to offer passenger rides to the public.
Drivers to be at the pub for ~1030 hrs for a welcome chat, free bacon rolls, free tea and coffee and meet the other drivers and see the cars. The main event will start at 1200 hrs midday for rides.
There is no set number of rides you have to do either.
Many Thanks and Kindest Regards,
Justin

Hi
I need to let you know that the E type is sold, so unless the new owner wants to bring it up from Herefordshire, it won't be available.
Hopefully will be there with the Cobra though!
Colin
Colin, the cobra is always hit at this event, thanks for supporting it. No problems with e-type.I need to let you know that the E type is sold, so unless the new owner wants to bring it up from Herefordshire, it won't be available.

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS EVENT HAS HAD TO BE CANCELLED THIS YEAR 2011 WHICH IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WILLING SUPPORT AND MAYBE POSSIBLE IN SPRING/SUMMER 2012.
Justin - is there some way we could arrange another date & venue?I would be more than happy to take over with the help of some other regulars to make this year happen?!
Sorry to hear this Justin. We were all set for supporting it this year.
Keep me in the loop in case we can pull something together, a real shame.
As above, I don't mind helping to rearrange at another venue as it was a lovely way to raise some cash for Charity, whilst sharing these cars with enthusiasts.
