Hopefully a quick one (well, quick in that I suspect this doesn't exist...)

Does anyone know of a simple (and cheap) gym in or near to Shorpe (or Brigg) that is just that, cheap and cheerful with a decent selection of weights?

The nearest gym to me is the Ancholme Leisure Centre which has a woeful selection of weights and no bench - so I need somewhere to train to try to get some semblance of figure back.

Thanks

JTW

Freaky's has just moved in Ashby mate. Now down next to the HONDA garage at end of Everest road. The OH's mum uses it, reckons it's spot-on.

All else fails, riddings pool has a small gym in size, BUT I'm told by those I know that it's well equipped, and out of peak time, nice and deserted

That's handy as I know where that is and it's likely to be more accesible than the Riddings.

I might check them out today or tomorrow....

Empyrean is quite popular, it's just moved from next to the sex shop to opposite Wickes - much larger place now.

It's a simple, no fuss kind of gym......lots of Poles though....

Funny how neither of those came up on a Google search....

I like the sound of that one though - I can think of about a dozen pole jokes, but I'll leave those to the Germans smile

You haven't seen the size of them though!

Yeah, dump your car in ALDI or Sunshine hall.

It's a tall church-eque building, right on that pointless mini roundabout at the end of Everest Road
