Hi All,

I have been meaning to post this up for a few weeks, but due to the usual hectic state in our world it's not quite made it to the top of the 'to-do' list... until now.

Before I moved back up to Scotland, Vicki and I held an annual PH BBQ with the Thames Valley + Surrey PH forum. This year we are holding the PH BBQ festivities in Glasgow, plus 10 of us are adding on a few days "touring" afterwards around Scotland.

A number of the Scottish PH clan will already have seen this on the world of Facebook, but for those who haven't seen it, here is the BBQ plan.

It will be at our house on Sunday 29th May (The bank holiday weekend in 2 weeks time). It would be great to see some of the people I have met up with already and the usual Scotland PH character's that I haven't yet. You are of course welcome, and along with about 12 PH'ers coming up from down south and a few local friends, it should be a right good laugh. Bring some food burger, something to drink drink, and your other halves if you want to.

If it is raining, we may struggle for space... but who want's to go to a wet BBQ anyway! I'll look at the forecast a few days beforehand, and try to guess from there on likely numbers, etc.

Feel free to either post up on here and/or join me on facebook, or PM me if you want to come and I will let you know the details of where we are on the south side of Glasgow.

Cheers,
Fraser and Vicki

I forgot to put a time! It is from around 2.00 until whenever it finishes, and I expect a few will be around after the grand prix wink Food cooking will be started up about 4.00.

As per FB, i'm in.

Baz, will be over for the GP beforehand, if you want a lift over to Glasgow there's a spare seat. Can bring the HGV too if more folk want a lift out to yours and back to Fraser's.

Given the garden was just landscaped, a big hole in it wouldn't go down too well hehe

We do however have a BBQ Factory Captain Cook, that was brought over from NZ for us... will that do?

Not got any old 20 gallon drums and we could make up a pakeha hangi?
However i'm sure the BBQ factory one would go down just fine!

The last 44 gallon drum that was at our place started the whole challenge of making the BBQ...

See the last couple of pages of this thread from 3 years ago. It's still going strong! (although is on it's second rotisserie motor now)

Should have no issue's then with any burgers/pork ribs i bring along then. hehe
Will it be bring enough food to feed yourself or bring a bit extra for others to nibble on as well?

I have 2 dozen Export Gold cold in the fridge, but the few Monteiths bottles I did have form the last SANZA order are now in the recycling bin.

Guinness beats Speights anyday wink
