Hi there smile

I want to get a custom exhaust made for my car.... i've got an after market one on at the moment and the fit is terrible, it bangs on the rear beam and i can't adjust it to clear it.

where about's in scotland can i get one made? I don't mind travelling to get a good one, distance is no problem, but if i can get one made near to where i live, all the better! I live on the west coast

I can highly recommend C&C Custom Stainless Exhausts in Hillington Ind Estate.

I've had them do work on my Volvo (3" turbo back) and also my old Type R. Excellent standard of workmanship, well priced and good guys to deal with and all systems come with a lifetime guarantee.

Cheers,

Meercat in Kilbirnie. I have used them myself and they have a very good reputation.

I advise you stay well away from RMS in Prestwick

Nope, not the same people. Stainless Creations are in Falkirk and they’re very, very good.

Another for Meercat here. Helpful guys and very detailed.

They done Colin McRaes Escort Mk2 and Keith Cowies Skyline.

When I was down they were fabricating exhausts for 24hr LeMans cars.

Top work and were cheaper than C&C for me!

Not a fan of C+C personally, they undersized the backbox on my system and some of the bends appeared crushed as opposed to mandrel bent. It gave a horrible drone at motorway cruising speeds. Anything between 45 and 80 was loud, though it got quiet once you went over 90 though that didn't happen too often as speeds in excess of 70 were only ever done off of public roads ;-)

If you're going custom I'd be very specific how you want it to sound.
