Strange skid marks!!
Discussion
Noticed on the M8 Westbound, just before the Fort Junction, there are skid marks going from the middle lane to the center crash barrier.
However it is not the normal 2, there are 3 skid marks, perfectly parallel with each other.
Now I am guessing either a caravan/trailer has came adrift and the middle mark is the jockey wheel but that is just guess work. Or maybe a Robin Reliant?
Anyone happen to pass by at the time of the incident and be able to cure my curiosity???

Yeah, passed them again this morning.
Whatever it is, has went into the barrier at quite an angle and the marks continue after it has bounced off the barrier. However the barrier itself is pretty much only scraped as opposed to been badly damaged, which suggests that whatever hit it maybe wasn't that heavy like a trailer or caravan.
Glad someone else has noticed it and I wasn't imagining things!

On the M8 eastbound just before J29 St James' there are some very recent skid marks that spiral from lane 1 towards the centre barrier, but no mark on the barrier.
Either they are very quick at replacing damaged barriers or somebody was very lucky - probably a change of underwear required though!
Will need to get a better look the next time I pass.

Saw these as well looks like 4wheels going sideways and spinning towards barrier from hard shoulder right across!Either they are very quick at replacing damaged barriers or somebody was very lucky - probably a change of underwear required though!

If I'm honest I was more expecting this:

And Frankie Boyle tells this joke all the time I heard it so much I didn't even find it funny when I seen him in the SECC but he tells it as his mate is the one that sat on the brides knee if I remember correct."
