What is it with black estate drivers this week?

Yesterday it was a Merc, this morning it was a 3 Series.

Both were firmly planted in the outside lane all the way along the M8, regardless of whether the inside lane was free or not.

What is it with these morons? Do they think they have exclusive use of that lane, and can feel free to impede faster drivers?

Muppets!

Just watch out for the black/v dark green 3 series estate. it is in fact an unmarked police car who has pulled over a few on the M77.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of drivers physically unable to get out of outside lane on the M8
I've tailed cars from Charing Cross to Newhouse which only leave outside lane about 50m before Newhouse off ramp

Why, when the lefthand lane is virtually empty, do they not pull over - one of lifes great mysteries

I'll even admit on occassion being naughty and driving up empty inside lane until i'm behind a car just to see what happensbiglaugh

It has been rumoured (ahem) that a biker not far from where I am sitting has overtaken these dimwits on the outside strip, and tapped their wing mirror with the left hand while passing, sometimes even knocking it out of alignment. While this is certainly foolhardy, if not downright illegal, it sure as f#ck wakes the dimwits up!

Just have this picture in my head of the "offender" getting such a scare that they steer towards the right as they turn round to see what the noise was and pushing you into the central reserve, certainly not a thing I would be putting myself in the position of being a donor for...

If they are doing less than the limit and you don't suddenly pull back into the right hand lane then it's not actually illegal to pass on the inside if that lane of traffic is moving quicker.
