Grampian Transport Museum, Sunday 17th July

Grampian Automobile club host a round of the Scottish Sprint Championship and a round of the Highland Speed Championship on Sunday at the Grampian Transport Museum, Alford starting at 9.00am and running through to around 4.00p.m. Great days speed motorsport on the small but twisty and challenging little track which always throws up some real close battles within the classes. Over 60 cars entered from a little but quick Saxo to motorbike engined single seaters. Lets pray for good weather to make it a great day out. See you there I will be in car 48/148 the Tiger R6.

It's a shame I am not here this weekend as I was at the Afford round last year and it made for excellent viewing. It was a superb day out and there were some extremely quick cars.

Forecast was for rain but it was warm and dry all day. Great days motorsport with plenty close battles and 4 new class records.

Brill day with some real b£lls out driving. Very proud of daughter Vicky as she got into the same second as me in practice. Got to say getting a bit worried now!!!!

I did notice she is getting quicker!

As said weather was great and was a great day even though I had a terrible day struggling with the setup(or lack of it) on my car.

I'll certainly have a point to prove there next year!
