We organised a charity trackday at Knockhill. It was a success and raised aprox £550 towards our £6k target..... so thanks to those that helped out and sorry that we had to cancel the planned 4hr event and revert to 2hr only due to lack of numbers (we maybe could have run it in the end but we need the bookings before the last day!!! :P )

Doug (lucky bd but did have a lot of raffle tickets LOL) in the GTR won 2 raffle prizes and David (R400) won the other.....

Doug - Free TS trackdays for 2012
David - Laps with BTCC driver Gordon Sheddon
Doug - TrackScotland shirt

Here's a couple of in-car videos with lots of other cars in them rather than just an empty track. The second one is the final 10 minutes running right up to the chequered flag.

So glad it turned out to be a successful day in the end.
On Tuesday we only had about 18 people booked on so had to make a tough decision and cancel the 4 hour session and just run with the 2 hour session.
We refunded a few people who didn't want to do just the 2 hours, but most people kept their bookings for the 2 hour slot. From Tuesday we got the numbers up to what we needed them to be - sods law! With them and the ones that had cancelled we probably could have run the 4 hour session!

Still, it was a great night, the weather held up most of the time, with just the odd bit of drizzle every now and then and a great amount raised to charity.

Thanks to everyone that came along smile

Sorry I missed this. Had my car at the Alford Supercar Rides thing the dat before and it started producing a mist of oil out of the blow-off valve when venting boost! Decided it was best not to risk a track day under those circumstances! Seems it may not be too serious, just blow back of oil vapour into the circulation system from the crank case. Hopefully! Next time though...
