Who wrote that blurb? yikes

"Providing amusement for vehicles and their humanoid companions, Car Limits are a high performance driving training centre. Wannabe Hamiltons and Noddys can try their hand at airfield driver training days, track days, circuit driver training days or commandeer colleagues for some corporate fun."

Looked at this earlier. It does not seem great value actually - 100 quid for 3 laps! and laps of what?
I think the KH experiences are better value.

£129 for 3 laps in each car. Not sure if you can still use the full circuit or not.

TBH I wasnt sure about value at first but there are two sides to this.

Firstly as a gift idea its a nice wee afternoon out with some top class cars, (you should see what theyve got lined up for next years cars).

Secondly, for those of us lucky enough to own something with a bit of poke, the two lads taking the cars round are both seriously good drivers. As I'm sure Red211 will agree with (and he knows his way around a track quickly) you should look at it as half the cost for the cars and half the cost to get 10 laps picking the brains of your passenger. Rest assured they'll out drive anybody you know.

I had 45 mins last year with one of them and the difference he made was genuinely amazing (i've now progressed from really st to just st).

My value comment was based on the description of a 3 hour session and then the detail about 3 laps. Not sure what it is a lap of but say it was a KH size circuit then that's 3 minutes of driving!

Don't get me wrong if Andy Walsh did a half day airfield day north of the border I'd go every month! But 3 laps is a very short time.

Flippy where did you do your session?

Got a baby yet?

Sorry to hijack thread op.

hey baz, did my session at a charity track day (kh) and found Mr Walsh really good. He didnt have long with me but did take a sizeable chunk out of my laptime.

I'm sure he would do Scottish training if he could get a suitable venue up here.

In the meantime if anybody fancies a trip down for some training its worth keeping an eye on se as thereare a lot of ventures down and spaces to fill. Means companionship/roadtrip down, at the venue and back.

Now, onto the other stuff. Yep, the miss's had a little baby girl, she came early but both mum and daughter are now in good form. Little miss flip is also known as "Summer". Its weird but I havent been able to get my head into work since she was born although trying very hard to find a balance, I'm turning into one of those people I hate, subjecting anybody who asks to iphone pictures and detailed feeding times. Need to get back in 4 wheels asap! Thanks for asking mate, hope your in good form.

cheers
