I got off the train tonight in Linlithgow and when I got to my car, I could see 2 tennis ball shaped scuffs in the dirt on both driver's side doors.

Looks like someone has given both of them a kick, leaving 2 lovely dents in my otherwise immaculate wee Fabia!

To say I am gutted...

Don't think it was a disgruntled house owner as I parked there for over a year with the Octy, and never once got any note or angry words - loads of folk also park there and no other cars were damaged so I am thinking mindless violence by some kids?

Anyway, can any of you guys recommened a good paintless dent repair company who will cover Edinburgh/Penicuik?

Preferably at weekends as well due to work commitments at the moment...

I just emailed Stephen Liddle after searching on here, but not sure if he comes this far over.

Cheers,
Steven

Linlithgow trains tation is shocking for these sort of things...stolen cars and vandalism due to there being feck all cctv cameras.

It was parked just up the hill in Strawberry Bank Road or whatever - along from the canal.

I would personally recommend Neil at Acci-dent... have been using him on and off for the past ten years for both personal and business.

His work is flawless.

Hiya mate, that's the third recommendation for them i've had!

Charlie (who covers my area) was personally recommended by a mate on Briskoda.

I've sent them an email to progress, thanks.

Yes I have used Murdoch from Dent Central, and I have used Stephen Liddel from SL Dent too.

Murdoch should be fine, although he said he couldn't get a dent out of the door of my Mrs fiesta recently that Stephen managed to get out (took him a fair while though, it WAS an awkward dent).

I assume Stephen would have given you Murdoch's number but if not let me know and i'll post it up.

Gutted!

Just went out to see Charlie and he says he cannot fix them properly.

He said the back one has stretched the skin over the door crash bar and he won't be able to remove the crease, and he would want at least £150 to try and fix the front and he is not sure he will be able to fix it 100%.

So it looks like either a bodyshop job with filler, maybe a reskin or i'll try and source some replacement doors but then i'll need my windows retinted.

This is turning into an expense I can do without.

I have emailed Dent Central for a second opinion before going down the bodyshop route.

Scum!

Charlie at Acci-dent messed me around for ages - kept cancelling, not turning up when he said he would etc etc for 6-7 weeks. I had three cars for him to do. I had used him before but never will do again.

Murdoch at Dent Central was really good - nice bloke and turned up when he said he would!
