My cousin is getting married in October so I'm heading up from Bournemouth and over the border into the Dundee area. The wedding is on the 28th and seeing as we are driving up for the event we have decided to stay the week, hopefully in a holiday cottage somewhere (satrday 29th october to the following saturday 5th november). The wife and I are bringing our two dogs with us so it needs to be pet friendly and ideally we'd like somewhere rural with a pub close by and a couple of small shops. I've got my sights on a couple of areas already ( Comrie and Pitlochry) but if anyone else has any similar ideas please let me know. Or if you own a holiday cottage that's available please let me know also.

Regards,

Eddie (from the South Coast lot).

You could try here http://www.panholescottages.co.uk/
Lovely place very dog friendly with an adjacent field for exercise and close to the village of Blackford with its distillery and outlet shops. It's about 3 miles from the lovely town of Auchterarder with it's designer ladies shops for all the golf widdows from nearby Gleneagles.

Cracking wee spot (and choice) in Weem just outside Aberfeldy. We stayed there last summer and it's owned by one of the guys at my work:

There is also a choice of others near by that may also be worth a look

ETA : Close to Weem hotel (great food / pub) + dog friendly

We love Cambo, but it might not be the ideal location for you. Very very dog friendly and the grounds lead onto the beach. Or Erigmore estate, which is owned by out neighbours might suit you. Individual cottages/chalets and most allow dogs, but they need to be kept on a lead within the estate grounds.
