Part of my commute home takes in the M74 and the clyde valley and most nights i get cars sitting in the fast lane, usually sitting at a fair pace, till the last minute then cutting across both lanes, cutting everyone up, to exit onto the clyde valley road.

THEN the buggers sit at 30 to 40mph all the way along the bloody road!!

Thankfully most days i'm on the bike so can get past but in the car your stuck behind the tts.

Rant over, Cheers, Johnny.

I hate the A72 for that reason! Once I get up to speed I can keep my momentum a lot better than some faster cars in front, but because it takes so long to get up to speed if I'm being held up I need miles to overtake so it's impossible to do so frown

You are pretty much buggered now that the limit is 50mph then 40 mph now.. and the way that the trees and hedges have grown over the years has cut down the safe overtaking places down as well..
