Anyone up at the Motormania event in Grantown on sunday?

First time up there, a nice variety of motors on display, everything from Model t's to Ferrari's.

Spoke to a few folk who said its the busiest its been, think we'll be back next year as its not too far away and a nice wee drive up there from Aberdeen..

Few of my pics.

I was there, got some pics but have no means to get them on the internets, I'll do that once I get back to the relative civilisation of Nedinburgh. Great day, some amazing metal I didn't even know existed.

I was also down with the Muzzy, was not that keen on parking in the middle as it made it tight for some passing. I have gone to this every year but this year they seem to have taken on more (non highland) traders which made the space tight.

Still cracking weather, never knew so many PHers would have been there.

Haha took me a second to notice the dogs! Not as long to see the security system in play on the car roof though - Check out the tiger!

Although I like showing my car that is the one thing that makes the red mist come down esp at Grantown as the cars are not behind ropes (not that it stops folks). Last year some rather large guy was leaning on my motor having a big chinwag with his mates. I set the alarm off and all he did was look inside the car and collapse back on it. Don't think he expected me to come up and politly ask if it was his and if not get the f**k off it!

Folks who write on cars in the dust should not be allowed near car shows!

I think the bus in the first photo could do with some air in its tyre!!

I love those old Fords, I was brought up with a love for the Granadas, Capris etc and would trawl round Laidlaws in Airdrie every Sunday looking at their cars all inside their showroom. They never complained about this young kid parking his bike outside and spending an hour inside and then making sure he had the latest edition of the Ford catalogue away with him. Think theyt brought a new one out every month or quarter or something.

Used to spend hours reading that, memorising all the data, the standard lists and the options available - no sat nav or reversing sensors then, more likely to be black vinyl roof or front headrests!!
