For those that know the area
Coming back to Bishopbriggs at weekend past Asda at Robroyston
Position car in right hand lane at 5 exit roundabout taking 3rd exit (4th asda) 5th the one I'm on Go round roundabout, signal after second exit to leave at third to find "indigant" driver who was on my left when I joined roundabaout attempting to go up my inside.
She overtakes on my right draws level when I stop in q at pedestrian lights shouts abuse saying I was in Asda lane then promptly heads off up right hand carriage way to next roundabout and turns left across traffic on roundabout taking first exit
Heads of into housing estate and then rejoins Auchinairn road at roundabout with out stopping surprise surprise almost taking front off of my car on roundabout
The joys
Where is a traffic car when you need it

There are so many who don't seem to understand roundabouts that it's best to just sit back and be ready to brake, it's equally as bad as people watching an incident unfold but continue to place their car right in dangers path to prove a point. See it all the time
Not worth getting upset about

I dislike that roundabout and that exit for the same reason. What is the correct exit point though for heading up towards B'briggs (ie the exit before ASDA)? If you exit the roundabout onto the left hand lane, you invariably meet all the people who have come round from the left hand lane entering the RAB. If you come off onto the right hand lane, you're in the lane for turning right and have to get back left if you want to go left or straight on - which isn't always easy!
I think it confuses so many people. I had a guy jump out a van and shout at me before for doing the same as you did as the same place.

I had a taxi driver come up to me when I was parked elsewhere to ask me about this roundabout. He had just been side swiped by a car on the very same roundabout. He had gone around the left lane to take the third exit from the roundabout and was swiped by a woman who had gone round on the right lane and exited across his bows so to speak, clipping his offside front wing.
The usual argument took place with both drivers claiming the other was at fault.
The truth is both were at fault to some degree. The woman clearly did not check her left mirror before exiting and the taxi driver assumed she would come off on the right lane.
The best policy on this roundabout is to approach in the right lane and exit into the right lane of the Bishopbriggs road, therefore avoiding any chance of you being blocked or cut up by another driver.

The reality is that that approach is probably the safest if the B####T who has gone up your inside lets you back into the left hand lane when you come off the roundabout
