Hand car wash- Eaglesham/Giffnock/EK

Recently moved, and havent seen a hand car wash in the area.

Google doesn't seem to have a comprehensive list of roadside car washes, unsurprisingly...

Anyone able to recommend somewhere locally?

Is there not a Splash in EK, just before the Throntonhall roundabout??

Great one in College Milton South, thats the one on the same side as the dump, take first left, first right and is on your left handside.

What about the one at the car sales yard at Thornton Hall roundabout?

There are a few but I've stopped going 'cos they always miss bits and I get annoyed at paying the fiver to then finish the bits they miss

There is however a do-it-yobadself brush n jet wash at the side of McConachies tyres at Spiersbridge R'bout off Roukenglen Rd.

Yeah the one at Thortonhall is not too bad but they do seem to miss bits occasionally, probably dependent on how busy they are.

The guys up at the car park in the Malletsheugh Inn (top of Ayr Rd) are pretty good, they seem to make a good job of it.

The wash in Burnfield Road (turn at the lights beside the new Whole Foods Supermarket) is really good for £4, they take care when washing it, and I haven't seen a missed bit yet

Strangely no but it's only a couple of doors before you come to that one.

There's one next to the Malletsheugh Inn, about a mile past Mearns Cross on way to M77 junction.

£1 for 4 minutes. I take my car there when I can't be bothered giving it a proper going over. Hot water snowfoam then cold high pressure - no gritty sponges and brushes near the paintwork.
