Going to Aberdeen
Discussion
We have recently had 4 new hotels built - Jurys Inn, Ibis, Park Inn and Bauhaus. From work collegues that have been there, all are great to stay in.
Jurys Inn is next to this bus/train station and also Union Square shopping mall which has many restraunts to choose from and also a cinema. Also a short walk from Union Street where majority of pubs are.
Ibis again is just off of the east end of Union St. Again a cinema is across the road and many restraunts/pus close by.
Park Inn and Bauhaus are across the street from each other, both are just off of the west end of Union St. As before many pubs/restraunts nearby.

thanks chaps
, I would have posted this in the Scottish section had I been organised enough to do it a few days ago, I figured it would get more attention here than in that section....(hope the mods don't mind).
keep them coming chaps
, also any advice on night life/stuff to do in the evenings? Any must see sites etc?
many thanks,
Jam

It would be useful to understand a couple of key parameters before people spend their time typing out advice that will be of no use to you.
As a starter ...
1) What kind of budget are you on? (on a shoestring or seriously pushing the boat out?)
2) What kind of things do you like? (bible classes or brothels?)
3) When are you coming and for how long?
Cheers,
Eric

Interesting that you might know where the brothels are...
well gents,
you are right of course, I am going to be up there till Friday next week, with regards to hotels, i can use my company's accommodation partner (lol) premier inn or i could book somewhere and claim it back, although i prob cannot get away with a mega posh hotel, i could always claim there were no cheap rooms left!! lol
I was more bothered about which area should I stay in or avoid, and also what there is to do in the evenings up there....
cheers

Yes getting on fine - thanks for asking.
Back in Woodend and getting wired in to the physio.

Really enjoying it ... no matter how hard they try, they can't break me!

Next fracture clinic on 04/10/11 and hopefully green light for weight bearing with my left leg ... and then it'll be no time.

What's interesting to me is that you use the plural. I actually only know one.

^^^ THIS IS A JOKE, THERE ARE NO BROTHELS IN ABERDEEN!!! ^^^
Cheers,
Eric
