Anyone play squash in Glasgow? Where do you play? I see Bellahouson is getting rid of 1 of its 2 courts and it was the only council gym in Glasgow to actually have them.

I play out of Newlands. Been injured for the best part of 3 months now with no real return date in sight. Missing it is an understatement!!! Especially with the West of Scotland League starting yesterday!!

I'll ask me pal, he plays 1-2 times a week in the city centre...?

Somewhere near Charing X if memory serves me correct - Hilton maybe?

Andrew

you can use the university gyms at weekends if a member signs you in. If your a graduate of either uni then you can apply to join the gyms and play anytime. Subs are quite reasonable. Also, found when doing my masters there that used to go down for a practice and were usually people hanging about looking for a game. Once played Scottish Uni champion and got absolutely thrashed!

If you find anywhere let me know and up for a game!

how much is it for Newlands and do you have to be a member? Where is it by the way as I grew up there. Is it down towards Langside?

I had a look at the Giffnock club today and it looks pretty nice. The people were very welcoming and said it was easy enough to get a game whenever you go in.

I missed Newlands when Googling for squash courts and it's much nearer to me than Giffnock. £360 per year for membership http://www.newlandsltc.co.uk/downloads/Application... Postcode is wrong on that form.
