I would hope that she would get at least a years ban and made to take additional driving lessons for motorway driving as well as the extended test she will have to take to get her licence back.

I was driving up the A1 from London to Edinburgh last year, I had just overtaken a Nissan 350Z and then withing a couple of seconds of me pulling in front of him a car flew past me in the lane I was just in on the wrong side of the dual carriage way.

Scared the st out of me and the guy in the 350Z that we both pulled into the services near Shilbottle.

You just don't expect it. I called the police straight away. Luckily it was late at night and there was hardly any traffic on the road.

hope shes gets ban for several years then needs to retake extensive driving test especially which way to go on a carriageway lol also being forced to pay the costs for repair to the trucks and the carriageway as no doubt when the truck landed would have caused some damage

IMO she should get a significant jail term plus long ban, resit etc. for this kind of extreme incompetence. Drivers have been jailed for speeding alone - no crash, nobody hurt, just the speed...

OK a guy speeding at +140mph is a concious act but may be perfectly 'safe' considering the conditions. What she did was unintentional but almost guaranteed to cause a crash. She caused a serious accident and was pretty lucky nobody was killed.
