After many years, me and the family are finally re-locating to Scotland, we would've moved last year, but the housing market has been rubbish, but yeah, we are moving to the Black Isle, Wester alness Ferry to be precise.

I will be officially joining the Scottish PHers next month when we get everything sorted in our new house, and next year would love to hopefully meet a few fellow PHers and come on a few runs etc...I have been a regular poster on the Yorkshire thread since I joined PH, mainly from a photographer's point of view, going out spotting in Leeds etc, and might even try and do a bit of photography when I get moved up to Scotland.

Just thought I'd introduce myself..

Welcome!

I hope you like Ross County FC wink

There are regular blats that start in Inverness and come over this way (west coast). Here are some of the suspects!

I love the Black Isle - we very nearly bought a house in Cromarty a few years ago and it's a real regret that it never came together. Handy for Inverness but not too urbrn and drier and less midgie than the west coast but nice and near for day trips.

I love the road around loch ness and then up to skye from there. Awsome hooning road especially with polly bushes done and a straight six sound track.

It isn't that house I'm afraid, its about 30 years old and ironically called the "new house" its fantastic, I love it, I never ever want to leave, yet, I have to go back down to yorkshire tomorrow to pack the van again to be travelling back here on tuesday and moving in "officially" by the end of next week

I'm from North Kessock. The Black Isle gets better as I get older. Live in London, though.

You'll love it, but make sure you've got a good winter vehicle.
