Has anyone got a good place to send my 996tt wheels for a full refurd, inside and out.
You hear of some cowboys these days. I presume Powder Coating is the way to go.
Any help and advice appreciated. I'm in the Loch Lamond area.
Thank.

I got mine done recently at Chameleon in Renfrew:

The Glasgow guys on detailing world all seem to use either powdertec chameleon or "the polisher"

I've also heard a few good reviews for

Hope this helps

My uncle got his wheels done by Mike the Polisher in Glasgow - he just got his polished up, unsure whether he does powder coating though. Certainly worth a ring IMO, cracking bloke who is quite a petrolhead and just genuinely likes making things shiney. hehe

I'd heard good things about him but he doesn't seem keen to do any business.

He does indeed huff and puff a bit, but hey - what true Glaswegian doesn't! hehe

More a lack of response (despite repeated attempts at my end).

Got the impression he didn't want the business so went elsewhere.

Shame, as I've seen the results of his work and it does look superb.

what ever you do dont use wicked wheels
i had him come do mines and my dads

Two oz white wheels and a skoda one.

Within a week the paint was coming of my oz’s

He left finger prints under the lacquer of my oz’s, and a glove print on my dads

The standard was rotten when I complained he said he’d re do them, took an afternoon of work for this and he never showed.

He gave me my money back but only after a heated conversation and loads of heated phone calls.

I've tried a few around Glasgow over the years, but The Wheel Specialist in East Kilbride are the best/most professional I've come across. They did an amazing job on my 997's wheels.

John's a good guy and knows his Porsches. They've made quite an investment in the facility and it shows in their work.
