Thanks for the suggestions.
MF2K looks they might be a bit too 'premium' for what I'm after though as not after a big install.
Another vote for Ron. His quality of work is 'premium' his prices are very reasonable. He operates out of a small workshop so his overheads will not be high.MF2K looks they might be a bit too 'premium' for what I'm after though as not after a big install.
Hi Mikey, I've used Audio Advice in Hillington.
They do everything from simple head unit changes to mobile disco thingys.
When I picked up my scooby the speakers were knackered and split.
I went for a fairly discrete system (well apart from the amp in the boot) consisting of:
JL Audio 4 channel amp
JL Audio co-axial speakers front and rear (amplified via above amp)
Dynamat sound damping for front doors
Dynaliner damping for front door plastics
4 gauge power kit
Stinger speaker cabling
RCA leads x2
Labour to install (5 hours)
I also replaced the head unit with:
http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=126-bt&...
As it has built in bluetooth hands free and inputs for usb ipod etc.
Who ever you take it to make sure they use dynamat and dynaliner (or an equivalent brand) of sound deadening in the doors and rear shelf.
The subaru is very tinny and can give a lot of distortion due to vibrations within door panels etc.
If you want to have a nosey around mine feel free to give me a shout.
a quick link to their website is:

Hope this helps
