Looking at selling up my caddy van and just using the S4 as a daily driver. Van is not much good with only 2 seats if i want to go somewhere with the wife and wee one.

Is there anyone in the trade who can give me a valuation on my van, trade and private sale. Much appreciated if someone can.

vw caddy van 2.0tdi 140 brake. 08 plate registered 18/08/2008
currently on 28k miles. full service history. White in colour, electic window, central locking, cruise control. Ply linned. mot 6 months, tax 10 months. I bought it December 2009 from Verve van centre who were the 1st owner. Very clean van as i have used the van like a car going to get juice/water from cash & carry for my gym 1x fortnight.

I was thinking it was worth around £8k or maybe slightly more. There are hardly any for sale, so difficult to guage a price.

Hi Kenny, can't help with value but remember any business buying the van will want the usual price + VAT quoted (eg for £8000 £6667 + Vat). Don't you just love being Her Majesty's unpaid tax collector wink

You used to be able to access Glasses' Guide trade-in prices via the Network Q (used Vauxhall website) but they seem to have changed the process a bit. You now need to register and do it via vehicle reg:

http://www.networkq.co.uk/buying/value-your-car/

(plus just noticed it's via CAP, not Glasses, now)
