Ingliston Motorcycle Show
Discussion
My parents went and said it was better than the last couple of years. All the big manufacturers were there showing of their latest bikes and a few of the smaller companies too. The area where all the shops are is always very good and has some really cheap good quality leathers and helmets. I know quite a few bikers who wait until the bike show to buy their new kit as there is always good show offers on.
Suprisinly for a change it wasnt pissing it down or snowing for the show this year either.

Haven't been in a while, the highlight for me used to be getting out on track on the supermotos, they aint been on for a few years now though, they didn't even ask to see your licence when signing up so you had all sorts going out, I remember one guy turning round and saying to me when we were waiting to go out that he had never ridden a bike before! It used to get proper hairy!

No supermotos for the public this year, but a great stunt display and some beautiful bikes..I went with my boys and a m8. it was ok, a lot smaller than years gone by but still an excuse to get out the house.
I didn't see anything that made me think i want that, will stick with what i've got. Also noticed the prices, bloody hell they are not cheap anymore 13k for an R1
It seems biking is changing these days, most of the salesmen were going on about the fact fewer big bikes are being sold and everyone seems to be more concerned about fuel economy, part prices etc.
Johnny.
