Dog friendly pub?
Discussion
Off work for week and looking to go a nice walk with the dog and maybe finish off at a dog friendly pub for a pub lunch.
I know there are a couple on the Forth & Clyde Canal, but not sure if you are allowed inside the pub with the dog if the weather isn't great. Last thing I want to do is get soaked in the rain and then have to sit outside with my pint!
Anyone any ideas? I live in Motherwell and looking at anywhere probably within 30-45 mins of the house?

http://newlanarkhotel.co.uk/ let my have the dog stay overnight, but not sure about just popping in for some food
West Brewery down at Glasgow Green - walk around the green with the dog, then back to West for some of their amazing Munich Red or St Mungo beer and food, free parking on street down that way too!

There are tons of dog-friendly pubs in Glasgow. West is best, yeah … but I also take my dog in the 13th Note, Bar 91, Velvet Elvis, Bar Ten, The Old Ship Bank, The Drake, The Belle, The Wise Monkey, Ubiquitous Chip, The Press Bar, and many more …

Forgot, my bad, it's to lure the ladies with it's puppydog eyes. I blame Hammond and Top Gear for teaching "How to pull Pt1" don't have a DB9 convertible!

Impressive. What sort of doggie do you have?Cheers,

Well if we're posting dog photos, Dougal is a white (some of the time) West Highland Terrier

And, motoring related, he loves car journeys, whether in the front seat, back seat, boot, footwell. If a car door is open - even if it's a stranger's or neighbour's car - he'll jump in.

Time for a PH Scotland cars and dogs meet?
