Edinburgh - MOT/Service
Discussion
Hey all,
I'm looking in the next couple of weeks to de-SORN a 2002 A-Class that has been garaged for the last 8 or so months. MOT/Tax had expired when it went into the garage so it needs to pass an MOT.
I haven't checked the last MOT certificate so I'm not sure if there were any things highlighted but I suspect that some work will need to be done so it is road worthy, as the previous driver was a little bit rough.
Never had a car serviced in Edinburgh so don't really know where to go, thought about one of the Mercedes places but I don't want to pay lot for a car that is not worth a whole lot.
Any advice or recommendations?
Also is this correct order of things I need to do?
Get insurance on car
Drive car to MOT centre (if it gets there!!)
Get MOT
Walk to Post office with insurance and MOT documents
Walk back to MOT centre with tax in hand
Drive off worry free
