Anyone else going to this? Just had an email from Groupon with a deal to get two tickets for £13. Looks worth it for that price I think?

Sunday 15th July at Royal Highland Showground.

Yep, my wee humble Mazda will be there on stand with some local boys - I'm just hopeful it's not going to be a big ned-fest!

Seems tempting, but it does seem like a Scottish kinda Max Power show asides from the odd Mustang and TVR etc, might miss it though cos I may be down South Wales around that time

Knockhill have a Supercar Display in their Pit-lane Garages, so far they have a Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4/12C, Lamborghini Gallardo superleggera, Bentley Continental GT, Radical SR3 and a few more, including my Maserati MC Stradale.

The above Supercars are static displays.

Carlo is coordinating other Supercars for the 'Supercar track displays' each day.

Knockhill advised me that as its the offical Scottish Motorshow 22 manufacturers & Dealerships are displaying their cars, with some cars also being launched, such as the Ford Focus ST, Peugeot 208 and many others. Many cars are available for track demo's, this is free of charge and there's an Air Display & Supercar display on track each day too, so all in all it looks like its going to be a fantastic show this year.

If anyone from here is going, do come over and say Hi if you see me at my Maserati.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Errrr... why are you talking about knockhill? lol think you might have skipped the first post.

As for the royal highland show, I think my sister has got me and my dad tickets for his fathers day prezy (off groupon.) might take the 350z or his TTS, weather depending. Never been before but pictures of past shows look ok.

laugh

I went to this a couple of years ago. If its the same its very much a max power/cruise test but still good guys passionate about cars. There are lots of club displays of various marques, fast ford vauxhall etc and bmw where there was a very nice CSL.

The main hall has various trade stands which are worth a look - but feck me the bass is loud to the point of being painful.

Of course being PH nobody likes ladies which is a shame cos its full of girls in daisy dukes! cool

There's a chap on Porssche forum looking for cars for it

Inpression I get is that it is moving a way from fast and furious theme to a more "sensible" show
