The bucket's suffering from a weird engine issue, will throw up an amber engine warning light under load, when on boost and going up hill's.

Have already paid one garage to read the codes, 4 "unspecified error's" were found but no codes were logged. The codes were wiped so it's blank, the light came on again on Friday coming home from work, so I'm hoping there's a code to read.

I'm reluctant to pay yet more cash to find i'm £50 out of pocket and no error codes to show for it.

Does anyone have a code reader that i can borrow?

Believe it's likely a fuelling issue as i know i have a failing injector, but want to know if there's anything else.

This guy in Newmains is offering a diagnostic check for £15. Maybe try him first? I have used him before for my 924, 944 and an engine change in the MG, so he can be trusted. smile

I've got an Autel one like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxiscan-MS509-Autel/dp/B0...

I'm in Bothwell - You're welcome to pop round and have a shot with it.

Right, a ph'r very kindly contacted me with an autel type reader to try and see if it would pick up something.

Went over yesterday and plugged it in, reader came up with no codes...

Light came on again today, no codes again.

I'm going to try and injector flow rate tester next and take it from there.

This is going to cost me a fortune. hehe
