I'm pretty sure the weigh bridge at underwood road in Paisley is still there just at the entrance to the tip! I remember as a kid stopping on it with my old man and looking in through the window of the office to see what weight our car was!

there is a VOSA place on western road kilmarnock with a good accurate weighbridge. used it a few times to get a actual weight of the caravan
