Here are a few pictures from the Aberdeen group of the first ever Cognoscenti run.

There were many really special cars there. The cars are supposed to be pre-1973 but a few modern beauties turned up too.

Please excuse some of the contrast in the pictures - it was not the best lighting to be taking pictures in.

Yes, that was me. I felt a little like riff-raff in the company of such gorgeous metal smile

I believe it is a semi-private club and this was the first run they have done. I am sure (hope) there will be more in the future? smile

Thank you for the photos (that is my blue Cobra) - certainly an excellent day out in good company. Thanks to all involved.

I wonder if anyone can correct the thread on UKSaabs that suggests the 'open top green car' is a Jaguar... The car in question is an AC, one of four on the trip. To be exact it is the AC Ace Le Mans, more commonly known by its chassis No. LM5000 and was the 1958 works entry to Le Mans.

How stupid do I feel now! It was me in a brain storm moment that suggested that, and as I own UKSaabs, I will go there directly and correct it. My apologies.
