Level 42 tonight at the 02 ABC in Glasgow!

Probably one of the best bands ever. I've seen them 4 times and they get better with age.

Anyone on here going?

Christ, I remember seeing them at the Hammersmith Apollo when I was in the 6th form. A mere 28 years ago.

Looks like they are playing Brighton on the 26th - some bloody website wanted £113 PER TICKET when the venue is selling them for £26 FFS! Will see if the missus wants to go and if we can get a babysitter...

I prefer their early stuff - towards the end of their popularity I found them a bit to pop. Still, might be fun to see them again.
I heard Mark King on 6 music the other day, lost none of his guitar skills.

What a night! They were bloody fantastic!

Just goes to show that quality mellows with age.

I saw them last year at the Glasgow o2 and quite frankly they were mind blowingly brilliant - and I wasn't particularly a fan either . . . . . . WOuld love to have seen them again. Top class musicians all and Mark King on the bass is second to none.

A few weeks previously went to see the Barenaked Ladies play the same venue and they too were fab.

Heads up guys - Level 42 are back in the O2 ABC this October, Saturday 18th to be exact.

I've just booked my ticket!

Was only there last weekend for the Hue & Cry Remote weekend celebrating 25 years since Remote/Bitter Suite were released.

Looking forward to seeing Level 42 for the first time live.

I saw Level 42 twice back in the day, absolutely brilliant and I've remained a fan. I also saw Nick Kershaw, that was a different story...........

Theyre playing near me in Bexhill at the De La Warr later in the year so will get to see them again hopefully.
They released an EP at the end of last year, listened to bits of it on iTunes and seems pretty good.

Ended up spending hours last night listening to snippets of classic stuff - heatwave, Funkadelic, Earth wind and fire (released another album as well).
