Nutters with no lights on ?????

The amount of cars that are driving around the Shire in poor conditions with no lights on is astounding, more than 50%. The white Range Rover Sport on the B9001 Rothienorman road this morning, should get his @rce kicked,for driving through drifting snow with out lights is just madness

I think part of the problem is that a lot of new and newish cars have 'Auto' lights that come on when it gets dark. Unthinking drivers get used to not having to bother about the light switch and don't consider that they can't be seen when weather conditions are poor but it's not actually dark enough for the lights to come on.

I have this conversation with sister I told her to put lights on and she said her lights come on auto but I said they don't come on for rain or snow or dull road conditions. Us lorry drivers can't see them in mirror due to spray so now she puts them on herself

My theory is too many cars have electronic intruments which light up when ingnition is on and folk assume lights are on

Worst culprits are drivers of dull grey coloured cars.
