CCTV Installation in Lanarkshire
Discussion
Hi Steve
I have done it a few times myself. On both occasions I have run cables up the external walls into the loft and through the soffit and left the CCTV box in the loft. Camera power terminates at the CCTV box and is 9v, you can get a single plug adapter running CCTV box and four cameras. On the first occasion I used a wireless AV receiver to a TV. With the second install I plugged it into the router and access it via a web browser.

I got the Swannview system installed, 4 cameras, remote view and record etc. works well and lets me watch the house when I am working away. The guys that installed it did a good job, electrican friends of my father-in law. I can get a contact number for them if you like. I'm in Uddingston.
Jer - To be honest i'm a bit ham fisted when it comes to stuff like this and with the amount of mess i'd no doubt make and how long it would take me i'd be better getting someone else to do it but thanks for the suggestion
Craigwww - Cheers, If you could PM me the name/number that would be great. Can you remember roughly how much it cost for the installation?
