Cant get it to play, will try at the hotel tonight.

If indeed he is a fud, him and Salmond should get on well together.

I have no time for the man or his politics, but I find it strange that he is surrounded and heckled by a group claiming to be anti racist etc, but apparently shouting go back to England.

Just manged to get the interview through the Telegraph website.

It would have been better as a face to face interview as Farage could have assaulted the idiot interviewer, would have made good TV biggrin

Were they shouting that? I didn't hear it.

I'm not saying they weren't; just that I didn't hear it.

The man has revealed himself to be a prize arse. Pity as it was his opportunity to reason with the other arses who were heckling him

Honestly ?
Do you really think there was any chance of reasoning with them ?

Hmmmm. Perhaps not . . . . now however he has done his cause no good by his reaction to the hecklers, his outbursts and his slamming the phone down live on air.

Like all politicians - an arse!!! Am firmly of the opinion that a desire to enter politics should automatically exclude entry ;-)

Top user name by the way biglaugh

Neither he nor the hecklers did themselves any favours, he though had more to lose, and his hanging up on the BBC interviewer, who I also thought was a tt, did him even less of a favour.

Agree with you on the politician comment.

As for the user name, I have to thank Mr Kiltie who started this thread for the name, he once refered to me as such and I though it quite fitting. biggrin

An act of colossal tttery by the knuckledraggers from Radical Independence; heckling is fine, repeatedly shouting 'scum' makes you look like mouthbreathers. I noticed they were waving copies of The Socialist Worker; in my experience SWP types are incapable of sentient thought and think anyone who disagrees with them is a Neo-nazi Imperialist Thatcherite(I have no idea how these incompatible creeds can be combined, I could never get them to explain this). All they have succeeded in achieving is making the Yes campaign look like a hotbed of shouty prehensile morons, which will cause moderate or undecided voters to run for the hills(or the Better Together camp). If I was partial to disposable aluminium headgear, I'd say Farage slipped them some money to act the arse for the cameras as he can't buy publicity like this.

The best way to see off Farage would have been to ignore his visit completely, or hire some doe-eyed asylum-seeker kids(or more realistically some horrid child actors to impersonate them) to follow him around looking sorrowful.

On a lighter note, a one of the hecklers did a good job; indeed, "You know less about Scotland than you know about landing aeroplanes." deserves a prize of some kind. hehe

Balshy hecklers can't make a reasoned debate, shout him down, he loses it on the radio. Big deal
