Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop used to dealing with older cars?
I require some repairs / welding to my Triumph Stag (rear sills where they meet back quarter panels & front wings)to try and drag it through it's MOT.

Car is in Banchory and it seems some of the local outfits are booked up to the max.

There was a guy in a barn out past Dyce, off the Pitmedden road that I had been in to see before, unfortunately lost his card.

Thanks Neil, let me know how you get on. I work just along the road from Portlethen so that could be handy.

What was it you were having done mate? I've got an MX5 that ideally needs it's sills done but in two minds as i'm not sure where to put it or if it's going to cost an arm and a leg.

A couple of holes in the bottom of both sills are being patch repaired as probably an MOT failure and both rear wings are being attacked by rust devils so cut out and new repair panels fitted + painted

Kinghorn.

You can't post negative views on this forum which is utterly ridiculous!!! But I wouldn't use one of the companies mentioned above!

What about kirkton motor body repairs? Phleep seems like a really decent guy and always goes out of his way to help.

I'm sure if you kept it basic you could? As in 'I used company X and I wouldn't recommend'?

I've used Kemnay Autobody several times, always found them to be excellent.

I tried Kirkton but they are so busy currently he couldn't look at the car until August sometime.

I would suggest Warren Dunbar at NE Autobody, or Graeme Morrison at retro restorations,

both cracking blokes who take their time to do a right job 1st time round,

I can recommend them both.
