Vauxhall timing chain repair in Inverness?

[R1gtr]

Hi guys, my 2003 Astra 2.2 Sri is currently at the local Vauxhall dealership having its timing chain checked due to a rattling noise.

I would rather not pay thru the nose on a car worth pennies so can anyone recommend someone in the Inverness area that could handle the job?

Thanks in advance.

Autosave are pretty good and they are just across the road from the vauxhall dealer. Turn right at ATS and they are behind the Audi dealership. Central Garage on Old Perth Road have done work on my cars seem OK or Hendersons over on the carse estate next to Ian Cattanach Volvo.

Brilliant, thanks for getting back to me, waiting for the diagnosis from Vauxhall then will decide exactly what I will do next.

If a lot needs doing it may be time to treat myself to a new motor.
