Fee,
I'm gutted that my car won't be ready for this. It's a fantastic event!!
Footsoldier,
It's suited to all types of cars. There will be some very racey stuff there but equally some road cars too. It's also not that hard on the car as there aren't really any big straights to get too much speed up.
Here's a vid of me doing it a couple of years back. Nothing to hit unless you're really wild.

Give it a go. You'll really enjoy it and the folks attending are all good banter.

James - thanks. Vid looks like your Impreza - surface looks a bit potholed, or is it ok? (eg would you take your Carrera 4 on it..?)I'm gutted that my car won't be ready for this. It's a fantastic event!!

I haven't actually been there since then but understand that the surface was repaired. To be honest, I'm pretty precious about my cars so wouldn't just hurl them around any old surface. My car is a caged racer. It's very very firm so exacerbates all road imperfections. Any potholes that may be present can be easily avoided anyway as the route can be changed to suit.
I would be happy enough taking the 911 on but the Vanquish really isn't suited to it.

Well now i'm really jealous. Wish my daft car was ready. Would love to have been down there listening to the SLS's V8 echoing off the trees down by the hairpin.
You'll have a great time. The surface is fine and you just need to avoid any bits you don't like by taking another line.
All the best.

I have an SLS which probably isn't really suited to it either, but I'm bored driving it between roadworks in auto! Willl likely give it a go...thanks.
So how did you get on? SI saw an SLS in one of the vids on Trackscotland so assume you were there? Hope it went well.
Yes, it was well worth the day out. The track was in good condition. A couple of apex traffic cones have added a slight orange hue to the silver paintwork, but should polish out!
Good to get a chance to drive flat out - back end is pretty lairy, but was good on the brakes, pretty much like a big Caterrham, and good fuel economy at 4mpg for the day....
Just stripping out the seats, sound proofing and dashboard now, to try to catch the r400 next time.
