A few weeks back my wife was crossing road using zebra crossing in falkirk retail park. A car had stopped for her and then some nugget coming the other way just bombed straight through. As my wife walked to her car, the guy was parking next to my wife's car. She politely pointed out that he should have stopped. His girlfriend "said come over here and say it to my face" I would have wrung their necks if i was there. My wife watched as they got a toddler out their car. I wonder how they would have reacted if their wee one almost got run over.

This has happened to me a few times just outside my work in Linlithgow. If you are close enough a tap on the rear quarter panel is always a good way to make yourself feel better.

As with most things now you have to anticipate stupidity in every driver when out and about. I personally stand at the crossing to make sure the car is slowing down before setting foot onto the road.

Glad you and wee one are ok.

simliar thing with my daughter, on a pelican crossing on kings gate, I watched out the corner of my eye white 300C drive right through a red light & miss us by about a metre not a care in the world. I hate to think if she was with my son....
