Silverstone Classic If you've never been youre missing out !

Just returned from the Silverstone Classic weekend - traveled down with the Scottish Porsche Club GB guys in convoy from Abington Services on the M74 - about 10 Porsche cars in all .

The event was truly breathtaking - 9000 cars on show, racing all weekend - 80's touring cars, Le Mans cars, 60's track cars, ex forumla 1 , concourse competitions, Porsche Parade (over 1000 911's on track to celebrate the 50th anniversary) Aston Martin owner parade, Lamborghini Parade, Ferrari, Pagani, etc etc. Spitfire air display ... Had hospitality on the Saturday ....food, drinks and private grandstand view . An outstanding boys weekend that Id thoroughly recommend to any PH'er.

780 adrenaline fueled miles in the 997 tt - bliss.
