There are major roadworks at Kingswells at the moment with different lanes closed every day. Someone at work tried coming in from Westhill via that roundabout last week (when it should have been quiet due to school holidays) and it took them 30 minutes to reach and cleaer the roundabout. I'd be tempted to go through Dyce and head towards town on Stoneywood Road, before turning off at Mugiemoss Road and going over the Parkway (flowing fine at the moment during rush hour), then in the Ellon Road for a bit, before turning off to go round by the beach (Esplanade) up Beach Boulevard, down Virginia Street, Market Street and across Victoria Bridge.
