Welding/fabrication Perthshire... ish

I'm looking for someone local to take on a welding job.
Colin at Burnbrae has taken out the engine from my Italian teabag and tells me along with the multitude of existing holes I already knew about, there are more.

I was previously referred to Smart repair in Bridge of Earn, I visited him yesterday, he doesn't do welding and told me to see Ian Brunton, only knowing about what I previously knew, he wasn't too interested as he likes fast turnover/turnaround jobs.

So, I'm stuck. I need someone who won't take me to the cleaners and has a mild interest in Italian exotic tea bags to fix my baby. If It helps I have a garage and a welder and all the gear to do the job, just lacking the time and the talent.

I can't recommend G & M Mechanical Services enough. Build and maintain my friends rally cars and very knowledgeable guys. If they can't help, they will know someone who can.

Thanks for the replies. I was starting to wonder if there was anyone left who did this kind of thing.

When chatting to people one persons name kept coming up. Pete Crawford situated near Luncarty. I spoke with this guy nearly a year ago. At the time he didn't have a slot for me and I wasn't sure he wanted it.
Anyhow after a chat with him the other day we've agreed on getting her into his place in a month or so.

I've seen some of the VW campers he's worked on. He's a perfectionist and his price is very reasonable. He's also going to photograph the car as it goes through its repairs. I will post the work progress on another thread.
