I was displaying at the Bothwell Scarecrow festival today with some of my old cars. Some people brought a couple of tanks or Scout cars with cannons. (Not sure of the correct description) I was told by the owners that I was too irresponsible to own one, as my suggested purpose was to drive behind cars needlessly using the middle lanes of motorways and pointing the cannon at them and demanding via the loud haler that they move over! Apart from that I could think of few vehicles that could make such an entrance or attract such attention or have multiple purposes!

Anyone else have these views?

Paul

Actually can't understand why anyone would have one unless that's what they wanted to use it for. wink

To be in keeping with your other cars, a Lamborghini Cheetah. I know that it was only a prototype.

The guns don't work! Also static! A real one however...........
Quite like the idea of a Polaris Missile. A few establishments around who might improve if one of them pointed at them!

Who me ?

I like that idea a lot, though surely you'd want to use the cannon for real to remove the pesky offenders from the road once and for all lol.

Seriously though, I'd have thought that sort of thing would be the main appeal of a tank on the roads.

I was there with the family for a look around. Even with all the lovely metal on display, we did spend a disproportionate amount of time looking at the military vehicles biggrin

PS: I wasn't being rude and ignoring you wink I did see you just as we were heading out, but you looked busy talking.

Happy to say again, if anyone sees me or any of my bangers please come over and chat or look. It is always nice to meet people from on here.
When I was at the event there were a lot of people i knew from the area. I used to live in Bothwell and lived 1 mile away for 25 years! It was great catching up with so many people.I did see a lot of familiar faces wandering about but didnt have a chance to speak to everyone. It was a great day apart from a couple of idiots and cave dweller type children!
