After the mess in Edinburgh. No more trams will be built in Scotland for a very long time by the government. I hope.
The West end of princes street only opened last week after what Im fairly sure is 5 years. No one can remember where to go as there are no barriers to guide you anymore.

Airport to the City Centre will be a challenge. I'm guessing that trams require a pretty much flat route - so that rules out going over the hill to Kingswells.
Given that trams need to be handy for people to jump on and off, I'm also guessing using some of the existing rail bed is ruled out.
This leaves a route besie Auchmill Road / Great Northern Road ... which will take about two hours to get from the Airport to town.
I'd rather get a taxi.

I was thinking more of trams with onboard electric motors.
Fast forward ten years as the first tram is stolen from the depot and the police blame the driver for not hiding his fingers and thus preventing his fingerprints from being cut off to use in the secure start up system ......
