car parking Glasgow City Centre

Morning,

just about to take the new car into Glasgow for the 1st time. its pretty low and attracts a fair bit of attention can anyone suggest a decent car friendly car park? the lack of parking sensors on the front and the long nose is making me nervous about buchanan galleries.

Cambridge Street is the one i'd recommend. My car is pretty low and have never had any issues

Ask permission to park in the disabled bit on the ground floor of Buchannan?

When I used to live in that part of the world, the local wedding hire place had their cars parked there quite often. A Bentley Continental and a Maserati Quatroporte, back when they were both new. Maybe ask the guys in the ticket office? Added bonus is they'll be able to keep an eye on it too.

Sorry on what grounds should he be able to park in a disabled bay?

On the grounds that they are seldom used, for one.

And the grounds that he will be no doubt be striking a deal with the car park operator, for another.

And you could throw in the fact that they're privately owned and the operator is free to make whatever deal he sees fits.

Maybe there will be a sudden influx of bay users, but I'd be surprised.

I usually leave the Ferrari at Atlantic Sq, York St. It's outside, manned and cheaper than the multi-storeys, which I can't really risk fitting in. The ground's a little rough but the guy there usually finds a quiet corner for me with lots of door space.
