I'm looking forward to this just for the Dee Dee sketch(es), by far the funniest Limmy character IMO!

I have never seen the show but the trailer doing the rounds is not funny and in no way makes me want to wafch it to find out.

OK, you probably shouldn't watch it then.

Thanks for letting us know though. smile

Dee Dee Yoker sketch was genius, as was the Laughing Cow one. Look forward to the Christmas special.

I first came across Limmy when he had his website with all sorts of strange stuff on it - gevus yer jacket!

Very much an aquired taste but glad to see he has been successful.

Will have to wait for it on youtube if it is not being transmitted in England.

I really like some of the most simple stuff he does - like "Stairs". biggrin

I tried something similar.

Been a fan of Limmy since his Snowball throwing game on the Chunk website years ago, his podcasts were good too.

Someone bump this thread on Sunday to remind me?

I also like Falconhoof, but I also enjoy the Jackie character - "I lost 5 years of my life to heroin, then another 5 years to the methadone that was supposed to get me aff it".

I think he's a bit hit and miss, but when he hits he is hilarious!

Burnistoun is the same.

Dee Dee going to space is a favourite.

Not to mention, "Wrong way down a one way street!"

You should get that on YouTube! If you sign up as a partner and get enough hits, you could treat yourself.

Anyway, all academic, you'll be watching BBC4 while it's on anyway.

Treat myself to what, I can do that without the aid of you tube

Never was a Denver fan, I do like comedy, not sure Limmy qualifies.

Quick google search would indicate I'm not alone, many people having gave him time but producing limited laughter.

Anyway I prefer programmes about murderers and psychopaths
