Saw an ex demo, molten orange ST on autotrader on Saturday advertised at a very reasonable price, had a think about it and well, couldn't resist. Phoned the dealer (they're In Doncaster) on Sunday morning and half an hour later I had bought it. Going down to pick it up on Saturday morning biggrin

Anyone else on here got one? I haven't seen many around Glasgow, only 1 or 2 up at Knockhill.

Anything I should watch out for? It's only got 3,000 miles on it so I'm not expecting any issues but best to be safe than sorry.

Me! I love it, the base car is brilliant but the Mountune MP215 kit takes it to a new level.

What colour/trim/spec did you go for?

I've seen that Revo also do a remap and bits for it, heard anything about it?

I have a Spirit Blue ST. It may have been one of the ones you seen at Knockhill.

Only issue I've had with mine, which seems to be common on others is the illuminated ST door scuff plates fail.. I've had my passenger side replaced under warranty, just keeping an eye on them now!

Dealer said it was common on Focus ST's too, the electrical wire is wafer thin and prone to damage.

Very possibly. First one I saw was spirit blue at KH, maybe when the rally cross was there? Thanks for the heads up though, will definitely keep an eye out for it

Spirit Blue ST2, I added the automatic aircon & spare wheel to the spec & got the style pack thrown in. The only problem I've had so far was a fault in the tell-tale for one of the heated seats, pretty quick warranty fix at the dealers. I've heard about various different maps available for tuning them, my main motivation in taking the Mountune over any of the others was that it doesn't affect the warranty or service schedule.

Got it in June last year then was at SMRC meeting that month. Amazing how dirty the car gets from a day in the Knockhill car parks!

Thats probably going to be the deciding factor. Revo map will void the warranty which could prove costly in a year or two...

God I wish they would start bringing 5 door Sts to this country. Want one so bad as my fast ford itch has yet to be scratched and this little beauty seems to fit the bill perfectly.

...apart from the need for rear doors!!!
