Ooops... looks like I got my steel building folk mixed up. Sorry
I used Cyclone Steel Buildings based in Inverkeithing although I think they may all be related anyhow.

My garage is the 3rd one along: http://www.cyclonebuildings.com/images-of-steel-bu...
I can't seem to find any build details either so this is from somewhere else

As said above, I couldn't have been happier with the company. I can't actually remember the cost but I do remember being surprised how relatively cheap it was. Hope that helps

Hi renmure, I'm looking at something similar to your building though longer with dividing walls. Could you Pm me with any relevent info such as how long the build took, what if any planning wa needed and if the company did your concrete base? Much appreciated. Slip

Just noticed this thread. These are the guys we have ordered from. Very eay to deal with and always happy to answer any questions. Ours arrive on Monday but still to get the concrete bases in. Might do a build thread for those interested.
Not sure if they can do the concrete works. Fortunalty my father in law runs his own ground works firm so they can take care of that easy enough. It's a nice small job for them!

The base was done by a local civil engineering company called Torith (who went into administration a year or so ago) but I think there are lots of options for who to use. My base was slightly more expensive since it had to be dug out of a slope and a small retaining wall built but from from start to finish was only a 3-4 day job. I think the cost of the base was about the same as the cost of the steel kit. The steel building company provided the relevant planning docs and also put me in touch with the guys who put it up. That started on a Monday and I was able to use it on the Thursday afternoon, so fairly slick.Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
